Hublot King Power Tourbillon Manufacture Men’s Model#705.CI.0007.RX
March 18th, 2010 – Basel World witnessed the release of the newest King Power Hublot watch. Marking its 30th anniversary Hublot presented the King Power Tourbillon Manufacture #705.CI.0007.RX, a limited edition of 30 pieces inspired by the interior of their workshops.
Part of the Big Bang Collection, dimension is the first image that comes to mind as the dial is comprised of several layers. It’s like going down the rabbit hole with Alice as you explore the nuances of this watch face.
Hour and minute indicators are located at the 12 o’clock position and seconds are visible through the tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock. Its as if you are inside of a beautiful dark machine. Split-seconds are mechanical and self-winding. It has a foudroyante chronograph with a power reserve of 42 hours.
Done in various tones of black, the 48mm case and bezel are microblasted ceramic with molded rubber. There are 6 relief black PVD H-shaped titanium screws surrounding the bezel. No need to worry about taking a quick dip for it is water resistant to 100 meters.
The hour and minute hands are polished black nickel coated with black SuperLuminova to light up the night. An articulated black rubber strap handsomely sets off the industrial design elements in this magnificent timepiece. Movement is Caliber Hublot HUB6002.
