The Hublot Big Bang 44mm 311.PX.1180.GR Watch is the epitome of class and style.  It’s complex design instantly attracts the eye and it’s sleek lines and high quality materials make for a truly excellent first impression.

This timepiece is made with only the best materials, starting with the solid, 18K rose gold case, bezel and hands, which have luminous filled tips that make it much easier to read the time in darker settings.  The bezel has many recognizable polished titanium “H” style screws.  The bracelet strap is made from a combination of rubber and alligator skin.  The alligator skin is on the outside of the watch, allowing everyone to see the style and elegance of the timepiece, while the inside of the bracelet is made with rubber which allows for an extremely comfortable wear.  The dial is covered with an ultra scratch resistant sapphire, the most expensive and durable watch covering available.  This timepiece is also water resistant up to 100 meters, which makes it suitable for wear in the rain, washing your hands or even swimming.

Pros

  • Solid 18K Rose Gold
  • Alligator
  • Comfortable Strap
  • Recognizable “H” Screws
  • Chronograph Stop Watch
  • Date Window
  • Water Resistant
  • Scratch Resistant Sapphire

The Hublot Big Bang 44mm 311.PX.1180.GR watch clearly has a lot of pros.  Aside from the overall look of this timepiece, which is beautiful, it also comes with many extra features and special touches.  All of the materials used to create this watch are of the highest caliber, from the 18K rose gold to the ultra scratch resistant sapphire.  It’s water resistance means that you don’t have to worry about when you can wear this watch and when you should leave it at home, and the rubber used in the alligator straps insures that it will be comfortable to wear all day, even every day.  The chronograph stopwatch has a large central seconds counter, a 30 minute sub-dial counter at the three o’clock position and a 12 hour sub-dial hand at the 9 o’clock position.  The date display is location in between the four and five o’clock positions.

Cons

  • Price
  • Not Vegetarian/Vegan Friendly

The most obvious drawback to this timepiece is the price, the Hublot Big Bang 44mm 311.PX.1180.GR watch retails for $41,700.  While this watch is obviously very expensive, it does come with the assurance that only the best materials were used in its creation, so you know it has been built to last.  The only other setback you might have in purchasing this timepiece is that the alligator strap keeps it from being a vegan or vegetarian friendly product.

If you have some money to spend, and you’re not a vegan or vegetarian, I would highly recommend this watch.  It’s absolutely beautiful, but doesn’t loose any of its polished masculinity in the design.
